Clinical Supervision

Supervision is a distinct professional practice with knowledge, skills, and attitude components. These sessions aim to foster sharing of knowledge and experience, provide feedback on cases, encourage critical reflection, and support best practices in line with ACLP guidance.

Packages are available for 45 to 60 minute sessions. Small groups of 2 to 5 Child Life Specialists seeking supervision as a group should contact Consulte Paideia for custom pricing.

Online consultation for parents and caregivers

Online Child Life Consultation

Consultations are tailored to the unique needs of each family. Sessions may include helping parents explain a medical encounter to a child or teen, building coping plans, identifying advocacy strategies, and recommending medical or therapeutic play to promote adaptation and normalization.

The first session is a free 15 to 20 minute evaluation to identify specific needs. Follow-up sessions are offered in 30-minute, 60-minute, or bundled formats.
